About Us

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. GuYuan Learning Academy (GYLA) was founded in April 2020 by a husband and wife team, in the garage of their home.We are looking forward to becoming a premier organization in the United States by serving our clients with transparency and honesty. We are very passionate about learning in all academic and curricular areas, with more emphasis being placed on online art classes.
We collaborate with the prestigious Meishubao Education Group, China, to offer  bilingual online art classes in Chinese and English. We also offer tutorial services in French, Chinese, and Math.
Founders
Yuanchun Ma: veteran and former Chinese language immersion teacher at E. E. Waddell Language Academy (2014 to 2019). Out of 4 of her 5 years as a VIF teacher from China, Ms. Ma's students experienced substantial academic growth in Math and Science as measured by the North Carolina End of Grade tests. Ms. Ma also taught in China prior to immigrating to the USA. 
Buku Guzeh: veteran French language immersion teacher and, currently an assistant principal in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Mr. Guzeh taught French at Reid Park Elementary, Bruns Avenue Elementary, and Smith Academy of International Languages before becoming a school administrator. He is a 25-year veteran educator with education from Liberia, La Cote D’Ivoire, France, and the United States.
